Our Story So Far

Whether you have stumbled upon my little piece of the web by chance or on purpose, welcome!  We began our homeschooling journey in 2016 with my daughter, Em, in Kindergarten, and Liv in Preschool (if you could call it that, as she literally had zero interest at the age of 3!)  When we found out that the school district which we had moved into was lackluster, we began to seriously consider homeschooling.  Then, when Liv was two she was diagnosed with Epilepsy, which, in two year's time we have been unable to get under control with medication.  What better way to make sure our girls got a good Catholic education while at the same time me being able to keep an eye on Liv, than to homeschool!!  Well, somehow we made it through year one and are continuing to persevere into first grade for Em and  Preschool Round 2 with a much more cooperative Liv :)  It has been far from perfect, but we are learning more and more about each other, God, perseverance, and patience every day!  And really, isn't that the point?

Note: this was a rare moment when my little nature-lover was not really loving the nature...or perhaps it was the hug she wasn't digging!
